James Burke Charleston Builder
Building relationships
one project at a time

JM Burke is located in the Park Circle area in North Charleston, South Carolina.
James & Jennifer Burke work as a husband wife team trouble shooting air quality issues related to construction defects. The steamy climate of Charleston, can cause havoc for some individuals with a higher sensitivity to allergens. By renovating your breathable home into a more energy efficient "green" sealed envelope we are able to get the humidity below 52% and in return help allergy suffers. We started on the mission to help our own family over ten years ago, and it has become our passion.
James started his career in New England back in 80's renovating older homes after school and on weekends. He developed a love of all things that have to do with wood. Even blue wood, as you will notice in the picture on the left courtesy of This Old House.
James decided to move south in 1989. He became a licensed Residential Home Builder shortly there after.
Craftsmanship and eye for detail that is part of his DNA, is what lead to JM Burke Construction.
Recently completed remodeling projects in The Old Village, Mount Pleasant, Seabrook Island, Daniel Island, Charleston and Sullivans Island. Licensed SC Residential Home Builder since 1993. We pride ourselves on being known by our customers as the "hands-on" builder.
